trouble connecting with O2 Hotshot

I have an O2 hotshot and both of the laptops in the house work fine off it, as does the phone. I just brought my PC home from work but that cannot even see the connection under 'network connections'? I am working with Vista and the pc worked fine at the office off the O2 stick.

No wireless card in work PC? That why using stick instead of Hotshot?
