hi wondered if anybody could help I had recieved an overpayment of JSA back in 2010 it has now been payed in full as of 2012 however they kept on taking payments for it resulting in them now owing me in the region of €600 I have been persuing this money to be payed back to me since october 2012 however keep getting told it is being dealt with by a different department so I have managed to obtain the number for all the different departments that are supposed to be dealing with it only to be told the same that it is being dealt with by yet another different department.

how the hell do I get this money back as six months of chasing this up and spending a fair amount of money in phone credit just trying to get this money back is starting to really take the p**s now.

any help on this would be appreciated

You will need to speak to someone in the Debt Management section in your local office. This is the section that raises overpayments and should be able to help you with the refund.

I have already tried that on multiple occasions but just keep getting told different department is dealing with it also I think it is a little excessive that I have been pushing for this for 6 months now and still nothing but when they are owed money they have to get it straight away otherwise legal proceedings get started
