    Hi there.
    Suggestions please as to which is the most economical way to buy GBP atm?
    Lodge cash to my cc and withdraw as required?
    Buy stg in Post Office...think its commission free?
    Withdraw from atm at dublin airport?
    Advise would be appreciated guys!

    Depends how much.

    If it a couple of grand then www.currency.ie

    if its more than 10k open an account with interactive brokers and trade at the spot price.

    Its just enough to fund a week in the UK to visit family so definitely not a large volume at all! I wish!

    if you are with Ulster bank - use an ATM in the UK at Nat West bank . No charges .
