A good few lads round here have used both, all say the same thing the 6910 has probably the best jd from the last 15-20 years. The 6920 was a poor upgrade but the 6930 was good again. The 6930 was far more comfortable to drive.

there both good tbh! even the 6920 but i would tend to buy a later 20 or 30 series tractor so all the niggley bit were sorted out! hard to find a 10 series now with lowish hours for year

im not a jd fan but i would advise not to buy a 6910s, u will be very disappointed unless it is chipped but the 6910 is the king by all jd men i know, followed by 6930 but in time i think the 6930 will gain more respect as it is picking up after the poor reports of the 20series

the 6910s is desliked by all who drive it jd fans are very disappointed so this is not just me, in ur shoes id go 6930 if money allowed as 6910 are hard to come across.

when chipped they are a beast but i dont know as never drive one, would have thought they should have been better than the non s but seems not, our mf 6180 would shame the 6910s and it wouldnt know what way the valmet 8400 went, ts 115 can out pull it hands down, but the jd 6910 will either beat or give these alla tight run for the money. seems crazy to me, just mentioned it so op wouldnt get the wrong idea of the true 6910 if he drove an s and thinking they where all bad, the non s it easier on full too so im told, noticablly too.

id say go for the 6930 newer, more powerful, but the 30 series are very heavy on diesel but except from that a great tractor
