    Hello fellow Hackers,

Unfortunately my golf clubs got stolen last week in Limerick. So please look out for a taylormade bag with R9 supertri, Titleist 903F 3 wood with demo printed on grip, mizuno mp 30's and more importantly a gold coloured scotty cameron California coronado (rare enough). also 2 ping wedges.

I'm off to brillo my old clubs.

    Thanks
    Dave

Jesus sorry to hear that, hope you get them back, keep on eye on buy and sell sites like donedeal.ie and adverts.ie and hopefully they'll show up.

That stinks and sorry for your loss, as said keep an eye out and hopefully they'll surface and the culprits get stung. If you're a member of a club check in case Golfsure insurance is included in your membership as this covers theft so you should be entitled to some compensation.

From where were they stolen - car, house, outside the golf club? Any tips as to how the rest of us could prevent similar happening again?

Yea good point re; the insurance, I've had a car stolen in the past with clubs in the boot and the car insurance covered it.

    +1
also check house insurance, most covers some items up to a certain value, even outside the home (bike, skis, clubs, etc)

Awful stuff, what a nice bag too, I'd be in anger management for a year. Had one club nicked this year and was completely.

Will keep an eye out on adverts.

Clubs were stolen from the car outside the house. I checked with my golf club but no insurance.

I will keep checking boards, donedeal etc. and thanks for the tips.

Been there, had my bag stolen with my car last year. Same as you had no insurance for the clubs. Car insurance would not cover them, as they were not lsited on the house policy they would not pay either.

I kept my out on all the advert sites and ebay but no joy, i hope you have better luck.

Bast@rds, I have all my golf gear insured all risks on my household policy, think it's around €8 to cover up to €2k of loss
