I'm not sure if this is the correct forum. It's not satellite, it's not terrestrial, it's IP. If there's already a more suitable thread/forum please point me there.

Here's the pitch - I've got myself a Golden Media Triplex satellite/terrestrial/IP box and I'm working through the menus. One of them talks of "Web TV" - this looks to be somewhere for me to configure various players using URLs of the form - rtmp://fmsod.rte.ie/live/rte2. I found this particular URL via searching, but it wasn't exactly easy to find.

The problem is that when I enter this URL (which is possibly old or outdated) I get about 2 or 3 seconds of content (so it works in general terms) but then freezes. If I reload the link it works again, and then freezes.

Is there a list somewhere of suitable URLs for the Irish channels and/or other English language channels out there? I was surprised that "WebTV" only seemed to turn up a post or two per year on boards.ie. Am I way ahead of the curve, way behind it, or maybe just using the wrong terminology?

    Thanks for any help,

    z
