Residence is proud to present to you the Swedish electro house pioneers that are Dada Life. On April 12th the Swedes will bring their legendary fat bass lines and banana peels to the Wright Venue for what will undoubtedly be one of the biggest dance shows in Ireland this year.

Dada Life Bio:
Olle Corneer and Stefan Engblom have seen a relatively quick rise to the top. The duo met at a chili cook-off in Stockholm, Sweden in 2006 and it has been an upward curve since then. What followed was a steady stream of tracks and a host of remixes for artists big and small. The guys have carved out their own niche and are making it a way of life, and what’s refreshing is that they are doing it in a non-pretentious way. These fun-loving Swedes project a less-than-serious producer image of crazy fun and endless good times. They've been labeled as "chaotic, lunatic, bananas" and many more titles to say a few. Don't get us wrong though, this is very much an accurate depiction. But, the combined knowledge and experience of Stefan and Olle is exactly what enables them to be slightly more fancy-free in the studio.
While they are serious about their careers and making their music, their attitude with respect to the scene is that they don’t give a **** what you think, that they are going to play music loud, dance and have fun, no matter what happens; something that resonates with their audience and makes for some of the best club and festival show appearances happening worldwide right now.
As a duo they stand out from the crowd, their productions, their live performances have put them in a unique place amongst the dance community. Their refreshing attitudes a welcome change from the norm.
Follow the rules and no one gets hurt. It’s either that, or these guys will kick out the epic, then things can get really sticky. If you’ve ever felt you’ve lacked potassium and booze in your diet, Dada Life has the answer for that at their live shows. Not only does this duo lay down heavy tracks like “Kick Out the Epic MotherF*cker,” “Unleash the Dada,” and “Happy Violence,” they make sure their live performance is topped off with champagne floaters and banana peels.
The philosophy of these boys is simple “This is Dada Land. Get ready to arrive beautiful and leave ugly. There are no rules but the rules of Dada. Don't look back in the past. Always go forward.
