    Does anyone know an update about the situation with suit hire/ sale from balck tie?
    Am looking at getting weddings suits and was wondering would I be able to buy them on the cheap if they are into liquidation?

    They have signs on the one on Westmoreland street in the City Centre advertising them selling suits at sale type prices. Give them a ring and see what they say.

    Advert in the paper last week. Weddings suits from 80 euro and debs suits from 60 euro

    Make sure you clean them well before you wear them. My brother hired suits from black tie last year and they reeked of vomit. Other peoples puke would not be the smell you want on your wedding day.

    Hi All, we had our wedding suits booked with the Tallaght Black Tie Store, deposit paid with them too, They have gone into liquidation and are closing on Saturday 21st April 2013.

    They never phoned us to let us know they were closing, we found out from a family member living near by.

    We did manage to buy the suits for our wedding at a reasonable price and have them collected, Luckly.

    It would make you very wary paying any company a deposit, we thought going with blacktie would be the best option as we never thought they would go out of business. Look What Happened. .
