Copyright law around website hosting

Hi i dont really know how to approach this but i am doing project and it is pretty unclear about copyright law.... if i have a website and its hosted in china and business is here in ireland. Which copyright do i come under where the site is hosted or where i am set up and living please help clear this problem

The hosting provider has to comply with the laws in their jurisdiction and you, as the content owner, have to comply with the laws of your jurisdiction

Put another way ..

If you think that hosting a site overseas to avoid Irish legislation is a solution then you're wrong

You need to host it in Antigua :-P

Offhand, the copyright exists from the moment you create it - hence if do this on an Irish PC this is where the IP rights in this jurisdiction.
