Advice on skin problem

    Hi all,
27 year-old female here. I've always had dry/normal skin. T-zone a bit oily but never had a problem with spots or acne, even as a teen. In the last 3 months, I've had huge whitehead spots. They usually occur as a single, big painful spot around the chin area, although I've had a couple on the forehead too. I've even got 3 little scars on my chin now from them. I'm getting one nearly every week and just as one is healing, another pops up.

I'm using the skin products I've always used (La Roche Posay). I do wear foundation every day but religiously clense, tone and moisturise every night, and tone again in the morning. Anybody have any ideas as to what's causing this or how to prevent it?

    Are you exfoliating?

How's your diet? A about a year ago my skin went to absolutely crap. Went to the doctor, he gave me antibiotics and a cream for acne which didn't make a dent so I basically cut out takeaways and super-processed food and the difference was immense. My skin cleared up beautifully within a week or two.

I've relapsed into my awful eating ways over the last few weeks and my skin has gone with it. Maybe give that a go if it applies to you? I'm 23 btw and never had particularly bad skin before that.

When my hormones are out of control I get spots on my chin and recently my skin went crazy when I changed the pill I was on. Maybe if you've changed contraceptive pill or anything recently it might be worth looking into talking to doc about

    Hi Guys,

I am not entirely sure if I have posted this in the right form or not. Recently I have noticed on both my legs I get wet patches which show through on my trousers it only happens when am eating mainly at dinnertime. I am to embarrassed to go to the doctor with it has anyone got an idea of what it may be? I am thinking maybe I am allergic to something?
    Thanks

We cannot give medical advice on Boards. Thread closed.

Your safest bet is just to visit the doctor.
