I have a 2003 w211 Mercedes e320 which is fitted with airmatic suspension.
It failed Nct today on offside rear shock and I am being quoted big bucks to fix.
Just wondering if anyone could steer me in the direction of a tame Merc specialist who may be able to help. Won't be able to sell it until fixed and Nct passed.
    Thanks

I work for a merc specialist and would you beleave we only done a job quite similar for one of our customers which has two s classes. We changed one shock which in turn wen we retested the car brought a the front of the car suspension out of limits also. Just make sure u get someone who understands the airmatic setup. If your stuck just ask il help either.
The shocks are a serious price to buy also

It's a hard thing to get right. The star diagnostics helps a lot though if you can get access to one.

Meant to mean handy when setting it up again once fixed. I've dealt with the air suspension setup on the viano ( similar setup to e class ) getting it all level afterwards is a problem but the star can/could control each corner individually which makes the calibration of the level sensors very easy.
