Letter of Recommendation / Reference Query

I am in the process of organising transcripts and things for my post-graduate application. One of the tutors who knew me well during my degree is now retired - would universities still accept a reference/letter of recommendation from him as long as it is printed on official college paper? I just want to make sure before asking him.

    Thanks in advance.

I'd imagine so. You could always email the applications office to be sure. That's what I'd do.
