Wayleave agreement: bad idea?

    Would it be a bad idea to enter a wayleve agreement with the neighbour to cross their garden with sewage piping? Would it cause problems down the road in terms of the value of our house? If we ever needed to do works on the pipes could they prevent it?

    It's that or spend an extra 10k+ digging up the main road outside our gaff :eek:
    He offered, FWIW, but who is to say 5, 10, 20+ years downt he road (scuse pun!) :D

    Front or rear would it be an extra expense if you wanted to build an extension

    @Ted1: going across his front garden. Can't see him extending but who is to say what will happen in years to come.
    Ugh, there I was thinking it was the easy solution. *sigh*
