    Hi guys,

    Thanks

Don't do it...best advice you can get really.
You are bound to have an FWA service where you live?
(unless of course you live in the Sahara or in the middle of the Atlantic)

Can you back up your statement with reasons, as for me i might be looking into this as well as I'm currently only achieving download speeds between 0.75Mbps - 0.90Mbps and paying €45 a month.

I know someone who is with TBO and are receiving 10-12Mbps this is a huge improvement and only pay an extra €15pm

To be honest sat is useless for most things you would probably use broadband for it maybe of some use if all you do is surf the web but for anything else it's utterly useless.

Ping times are horrendous, download caps are pathetic, the list goes on.
This has been discussed 100s of times here already do a search

    thanks for that
I dont live in the sahara but I would probably have more chances to get a fast broadband there than here. I dont think I have any line of sight
Disappointed about the news on the satellite though....
