Hi I am looking for an iphone that can play music from itunes and can take a good quality photo's of documents. I usually take document photo's in my historic research and it was a lecturer of mine that showed me what the iphone can do when coming to historic documents. I just want a good value one that isn't too 'pricey'?

Your looking for a phone rather than iPhone?

    A good value iphone

    Sorry, no such thing... ;)

Whatever you buy, you'll need a tripod to shoot documents. Don't bother taking photos free-hand. You won't get a consistent or good quality result.

This is better be moved to the photography board.

I don't agree, a good camera can do it no hassle
