Level 8 early childhood studies

    Hi.
    I was hoping to do early childhood studies in DKIT. I was just wondering with this degree would I be qualified to teach in a Montessori?

    Do you mean a Montessorri primary or preschool?

    Did you ever find out if the degree covers you for montessorri, I have the same query myself and can't seem to get an answer??

    Hi Emmajay,
    yes I think that it does, thats a montessori preschool, I know many people who have done this degree who are now teaching in montessori rooms.

    Hi everyone,

    The Level 8 will cover you for Montessori as you will learn about many different types of settings and curriculum and how they run. I have completed the Level 8 myself, before undertaking the course I was going to apply to do a course in Montessori, after doing the course I am so glad I didn't! You are able to get an insight into the different types of settings, and what type you would prefer to work in. Hope this helps.
