he(she?) has helped by hinting that nobody will reply to a thread that doesn't have some basic punctuation, paragraphs etc.

The more readable the thread is, the more people will read it, and the more likely you'll get the help you need.
Help us to help you: stick a few line breaks and paragraphs and punctuation in there, ta.

First of all , You must appeal within 30 days of the awarding authority’s decision.

In our case , we contacted a local TD , to help with delay , and he helped the problem to be resolved quickly .

wow.. i came on here to get some advice and help as my friend told me i might get some support on here, but obviously not. Sorry that puncuation, grammer and paragraphs weren't on the forefront of my mind when writing. lovely place... cheers guys! later

Relax a little!! We know you are probably a little stressed but I don't think anyone meant to be too harsh. Just advice for next time you are going to post.
Anyway, did you go to the Student Union about this?

If you take the same attitude with SUSI you'll never get that grant. Sorry for asking that you make your query legible so that people can quickly read and understand it! And it's not like it's anybody's job to help you, you know. At least not in here, so a warmer attitude might go down better and get you the help you desire.
Based on what you've written, it is worth appealing, I would think. Go through this checklist: http://www.studentfinance.ie/mp7232/maintenance-grant/index.html to ensure that you are eligible first, and then query SUSI as to what grounds they have rejected your application if you believe you are successful.

ah forget it ill go elsewhere! i was provided with some mild entertainment at least. peace out

My God, you have got three different pieces of advice and you still have the same attitude. I was thinking you had that attitude because you were stressed out but it is clear to see it seems to be indicative of your personality generally. So another piece of advice. If you keep that attitude up with people, you will face quite a bit of rejection in your daily life. The three pieces of advice were 1. Go to your TD. 2. Go and talk to the student union. 3. a person provided a link and gave advice on how to deal with the rejection.
