My husband and I are travelling to Lanzarote for a week in December. We prefer apartments than a hotel. Can anybody recommend good apartments with a nice pool area?

We stayed in http://www.eldoradolanzarote.com/ a couple of times and it was very clean and nice. Would happily use the El Dorado again.

We stayed in the Elena apts last year. Very central and not up in the hills.:)

Very happy with these last time we went: http://www.farioneshotels.com/resorts/apartments_fariones/ Close to the same group's hotel and you can use it's facilities as well.

The Playa Club apartments are a nice 2 star apartment complex, they are also on the flat, (a lot of accomodation in Puerto Del Carmen are up steep hills).
The Fariones are also nice apartments in a good location but usually work out more expensive as they are 3 or maybe 4 star.

    We stayed in www.parquetropical-lanzarote.com
Have stayed there 3 times now including the ash cloud where they were absolutely excellent.
The apts are nice and central but quiet at night, they have a ceiling fan in bedroom which I don't think all that many places have.
They also have a decent trip advisor rating.

Fair enough, I stayed in a hotel called La Geria. I had to pinch myself at least once a day that it was not costing at least twice what I was paying

Well OK......but do try to make friends with the wonderful Guaguas and see the island. For myself, I fell in love with Famara ( think Achill but 20C ) and Orzola.

Have fun.....( I had the time of my life )

Looking for wheelchair accommodation in Lanzarote on the flat and not so expensive, for the month or December

AVOID villas without security in place in playa blanca in lanzarote especially Montana roja side as there are multiple burglaries daily and smashing of car windows to get electronics. It's quite unsafe and a growing problem. If you don't want your holiday wrecked bear it in mind
