I have a DVD that I would like to save onto my laptop (win7) what would be the best thing to use? I Woud like to copy one dvd to another ?

Is it a regular Movie DVD or a data DVD?

It is a breach of copyright to copy a commerical Movie DVD.
If it isn't a commercial DVD there are programs like DVDshrink that will copy the contents.

If it is a data DVD, a disk containing some files and folders that you want to copy just open your file browser (Windows Explorer on Windows or Finder on a Mac) open the disk and copy/paste to wherever you want.

On Windows you might need to click on the drive and select 'Explore'.

If you just want to copy the DVD onto your computer, HD Decrypter (the free version of DVDFab) will do the job.
