Anyone know what the story is:

Renault Megane: Computer fuel gauge reading shows miles to go on fuel at 50 miles/km

Then shorty after 50 miles/km the reading changes to ---- (presumably fuel out)?

At that stage the conventional meter gauge is just about to drop below the red bar fuel reading.

the trip computer reading is based on estimates from your previous driving, so depending on the conditions i can see how it could take a big jump. i'd take it with a pinch of salt tbh. i know its not always possible, but when my car goes under the last quarter of fuel i always make a point of filling up again. its frustrating always going into the fuel light zone.
