Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2 Meteorites 1 Fossil

09-03-2013 3:58pm#1I thought I would post up a few items that came my way recently, specifically 2 meteorites and 1 fossil. That sounds just like a dirty internet video
This one is from Argentina, it is smooth and has a liquid appearance, and depending on the light can look either black or metallic. It has iron content.
The second meteorite is iron based and melted from the heat. It was found in 1576 in Argentina, it formed part of the Campo Del Cielo meteor find:

It is lumpy and heavy and looks melted.
The last item is an Armigatus fossil from the Cretaceous period and was discovered in Lebanon.
I would be interested in any further info should anyone have any to share.1
