Life-beam. HRM in a helmet

    Came across http://life-beam.com/ a while back who are currently fundraising for the idea. Basically they have an optical sensor in the helmet that measures heartrate, so no need for the strap.

    Given the background of the tech, I've no reason to doubt it actually works. Worst I can see about it is that battery life is listed as 15 hours. They have clarified to me that it is a minimum 15 hours of continuous measurement so that is positive.
