DVD connection to telly

Mods feel free to move this if it's in the wrong forum trying to connect DVD player to telly I'm doing this by using a scart lead from DVD to the combi satellite box which in turn is connected to the tv with a hd lead, had it working before but it won't work for me now any ideas why it won't work for me or what station I…

you need to connect the dvd to the tv via scart. when you connect to combi box via scart you then need to connect the combi to tv via scart. the combi box wont output the dvd via the hdmi. unless your dvd can record best solution is to connect direct to tv.
