Right call me Dumb but Im trying to hang 2 same sized pictures on a wall

Both Pictures are exactly the same (44 CM Wide Both)
    Wall Lenght exactly 145 CM

So far I have put 4 nails into the wall but still cant seem to space them exactly evenly (ie; Exact distance between wall pic wall pic wall)

(((WALL END))) Wall - Picture - Wall - Picture - Wall (((WALL END)))

Its quite a small wall and the slightest bit out and it looks odd. I dont want to damage the wall anymore :o lol Any help appreciated

19-44-19-44-19 i think adds up, middle of pic 41 in from each wall

Cheers Invisible that worked bloody BRILLIANTLY:D Perfectly spaced and balanced

I have been arsing about with that for ages, I have another few to do. Is there a "mathamatical formula" for doing this Ie wall length divided by pictures divided by picture lenght or somthing (my interpretation of maths lol )

Well, if you want the same distance of wall between pictures and walls, like above, take the total width of the pictures away from the total lenght of wall, and then divide by the amount of 'spaces' 3 in this case, if you had 3 pictures, you would have 4 spaces, just add half the width of the pic to find where the nail should go, should work with two different sized pictures aswell,

I had a similar issue once, did the maths and drilled the holes and hung the pictures and they were not evenly spaced.

After some head scratching (and probably one or two swear words) I realised that the hangers on the back of the pictures were not dead centre across the frames.

Just be sure each picture is 44cm wide. If so then come in 41 cm from each wall and that should be write.
