I was reading through some old posts from 2-3 years ago when a user said:
if you can get your hands on an old isuzu trooper running or not you can get 7500 euro off a new d-max , makes a new d-max the same price as an 08 hilux.

Can you still do this?? How do you do it? Do you just go to an Isuzu dealer and hand in the old one or is it a bit more tricky...?? This could be a huge game changer for my business if its true. Would love for it to be true :D:)

Why not ring an Isuzu dealer and ask?

    I actually remember that.

Didn't they heavily discount the Ford Ranger the time too?

Around 08 maybe when the arse fell out of eveything and there were commercials galore sitting un reg'd on forecourts.

Think it was something to do with engine troubles on 3.0 Isuzu troopers and to get the long term owners buy an Isuzu again

I think it was more a massive discount on the list price, didn't they modify the rear suspension so that they qualified for €50 VRT and thus cost them a lot less
