    Hi,

Quick question about mileage on a car. Just saw a 2010 Passat CC advertised for about €22,000/23,000. It is fully loaded sat nav, park assist etc but has 77,000 miles on it.

Is that very heavy mileage for the age of the car and does that price sound ok-ish. Thanks for your thoughts.

if it has been serviced, mileage not a problem, just wear and tear items to watch for. price is bit high ,i would look at a mondeo also at that kind of money.

OP, what sort of mileage are you doing and how long do you plan to keep the car? The problem with paying that sort of money for a car with that mileage is that due to the Irish stigma of shying away from anything with 100k miles or more on it, in a year or two that car will be worth a fraction of what you paid for it. If you plan to keep the car for many years then the resale value becomes less of an issue.

If it is miles, not km's then I think it's too high & it's an English car so beware, I'd be lookin for another few quid off, or a genuine Irish car if your not tied to ur budget, either way it's a lovely model, good choice

Mileage seems a bit high for year but the car could have been used by a travelling sales rep.

Use a few web sales sites and look at similar cars, what's the mileage there and price?
