How do ya get rid of ivy on the side of an old shed, big root. Not an option to take up all of the root because its growing up side of shed through the concrete .If ya cut a bit out of the root is there anything ya can put on it.I know about brushwood but im looking for a cheaper method.

Cut it twice at the butt, a few inches apart and wait.

The root is awkward to get at,if cut say half way through in two places would that be sufficient.Would imagine not

No, cut through it all. Be awkward with it!

drill downward/sideward small holes in the stem and fill the holes with roundup

Cut the root and pull it down and feed it to the cows. They love it.

Vet recommends it for cows with disturbed stomachs.
