What is the best method, taking cost and energy efficiency into account, of building a new house.

Has anyone any experience of using a 9 inch cavity block with external high density insulation which is rendered?

    What would you use?

I would use a technique already in common which existing trades can build and enhance it to meet the new Part L requirments

thats why I went for 100mm regular block/250mm full fill bead cavity/100mm regular block

Is the cavity bead cost effective? Would you have any link for the bead product?

    Thanks
