I'm thinking of investing in a set for warming up before TTs, and double as a winter training set up. Anyone know of decent models that would fold up nicely for the car?

Or indeed, do pretty much all of them fold up?

I think they pretty much all fold up. My Tacx Antares would easily fit in a boot or a back seat. Think you can even buy a carry case for it.

I have tried a bunch of different ones - the best (and most portable) I have found are the Saris Alu Rollers with resistance... I can do 30sec intervals on them so enough resistance for proper training/warmups. (Some other ones I had, I would only be putting out 220W @ 110rpm in the 53/11)

Hilda Ogden, that renowned bike racer, never travelled anywhere without her portable rollers:

Well, I've just gone and picked up a second hand Tacx turbo off kebel! Wondering if I'm old fashioned at this stage with so many guys switching to rollers?

Can't plug in a set of rollers on the side of the road...
