    Hi there,

    I have a bike shed, measures about 1.5 x 3.5m, with flatroof.
It is in the corner of our patio garden, in a fairly shady spot.

We have had random plants in pots up there up until now, many of which have not done great so were thinking of doing something new.

Perhaps a bunch of different coloured long grasses (i don't know their names but you can get beautiful grasses / leaved plants which are black, pink, etc.?)
Or evergreen plants which aren't too big.

    Lookiing for something:
    - low maintenance
    - grows in pots
    - does well in the sahde
    - colour all year
    - not too big (can't have tooo much weight on shed roof).

    Thanks for any opinions/ experiences!

You could try and install a seedum roof..thats what we are doing very soon with the duck house.:)

Low maintanance, only needs to be watered a few times in the entire year, and have lovely little flowers during the summertime

Bees will love it too......which in turn will be great for your garden.:)
