Sorry about that. Got distracted by something.

I seriously doubt that's a write off. And I would have thought the driver would know how to handle such a car in the wet. Obviously floored it on a damp road and the power surge threw out the back of the car. A very expensive lesson for the driver.

It probably is, and it was just registered that morning.

Ferrari seatbelt pads and the way the ferrari let the filming car infront of it at the junction lends me to believe it was his mates filming it and he was trying to show off.

    Audi A6 Id say.

As always, driving ability doesnt increase in line with wallet size.

Driver of the camera car was way too eager to get in front of the ferrari at that junction, should have let the car out instead of cutting him off.......

The Ferrari guy had plenty of chance to go, so maybe someone's suggestion at them being connected to the driver somehow is correct.
Silly driver though. That'll teach him an expensive lesson

That's terrible! But surely that car has ESP+++, the driver would have to have esp etc stitched off for that to happen:confused:

    I'd say he's sick.

Ouch expensive mistake, I hope he had better have comprehensive cover or else more money than sense...

He was acting the cock,he had loads of room to pull out but was set on letting the camera car get ahead of him.

I feel bad for the car more so than him,if he can afford that car he should be alright - people who buy brand new 458's tend not to be the "worked all my weekends doing pizza deliveries, gave up the fags and saved all my money for 15 years type" nor do they tend to be the "Hello credit union? I'd like to apply for a car loan.." types :D

might be the 'I won some money from lotto enough to buy one ferrari' type and I blew it..

    Either way, expensive lesson indeed..

As someone mentioned, driver skill did not scale with wallet size. I dont know how much it cost, but I think even a multi-millionaire would be sick at the price.

I'd love to have heard the call to his insurer though.

"Um, you know that Insurance that I took out with you guys 3 hours ago?"

    "Yeah"

"I'd like to make a claim"

    "........"

It's all relative. It's like one us driving a new Corolla into a wall. :)

And even to insurers its not a big deal either assuming no other cars and no injury claims.

Yes, Jameriqui (spelling?) was banned for a year from driving at the time for speeding. He was filming a music video in France (driving a private road for the video) and crashed one of his cars as he hadn't driven in a while and was rusty.
Then he phoned his assistant in the UK to drive his other Ferrari down to finish the video shooting. The assistant was in a hurry and crashed the car on the way.

That's the only situation a man is allowed to cry.
