BCB 60 Case Latch Breaking!

Was at a gig last night and 3 people had a Boss BCB 60 pedal case and all of them had a broken latch - one of the two sliders that close the case. You can tell from new that they're flakey, but still, mine is only a few weeks old. Going straight back to get a replacement. Has anyone got a fix or a better solution (other…

Was at a gig last night and 3 people had a Boss BCB 60 pedal case and all of them had a broken latch - one of the two sliders that close the case.

You can tell from new that they're flakey, but still, mine is only a few weeks old. Going straight back to get a replacement.

Has anyone got a fix or a better solution (other than treating the thing with kid gloves)? Do the pad locks work just as well? Seems like hassle.
