    Hi all,

A quick question if I may.
I'm on the jobseekers allowance and I get paid through my local post office at the moment.

I will be going on a two week holiday in the summer time, what happens with my payment while I'm away?

    Thanks.

You must notify the social welfare that you are going on holidays for two weeks, and I think you will receive the payments when you return. You are only allowed to take two weeks holidays in a year, so this is your only option to use it. Anyway just ring your welfare office and they will tell you the exact procedure, think there is a form to fill in etc.
