I've an NCT next Friday and I discovered that the passenger window won't open this morning, was working during the week. I did pour a drop of warm water over windows during the week when frosty, would this have casuse it? I bought my renault scenic (05) only 2mths ago and I knew the back pass window was not working either, now i've 2 elec windows not going down, will this fail nct?

I've heard probs with the regulators on these electric windows, are they expensive to fix, can local garage fix em?

Thanks in advance for any comments

Only the driver window is a fail, last time I checked anyway.
Have a search on this forum for other peoples Renault window woes, common issue - Renault may be offering some kinda goodwill gesture on these? Not sure.

As above, only the drivers window not working is a fail.

The regulators are available aftermarket cheaper then from Reanault and any decent garage can replace them for you.

If you want grim reading though, just do a general search for Renault Scenic faults.

Cost maybe about 90 quid with your buddy local mechanic or maybe 140 with a garage.
