I always thought AA would have been reputable, but after searching through old posts, it would seem not. Actually they get quite the bashing.

So Im looking at a navara on the wrong end of the country. Obviously I dont want to travel all the way over with my mechanic and then to find something wrong that the seller didnt bother telling (or thought we might miss).

So any reputable places that would give a very thorough testing. I dont want a no-name garage or the seller could go down the road to his cousins garage you know what I mean.

If you have time could you not have a look at the jeep yourself drive it look it over and if you are happy with it then bring a mechanic along the next day or whatever to look it over. I can see why you don't want to bring a mechanic a long way and the jeep turns out to be crap. But by making two trips yourself you are then more sure after the first trip whether or not its worth getting a mechanic to look at it.
