Log book error

    Hi folks,

A quick one. Had the motor serviced on schedule on Wednesday. Just took a look at the log book this morning and I can see that the date of the service has been incorrectly written down (2012 instead of 2013).

Now - it's obviously a mistake. The car was serviced in 2012 and the mileage is incrementally higher this time.

And I was just gonna change the 2012 to 2013 myself - but then it occurred to me that the change will probably be obvious and I don't want a potential future buyer thinking I've been messing around with the log book.

    Any advice here?

    Cheers,
    Quad

Go back and get a new stamp.

Just keep the invoice to show the work was done on that date and explain the error
