    Hi all,
I am new to Dublin ,working in IT , I would like to know ,what would be acceptable attire for nightclubs. and is it ok to go alone ,specially as I am Indian, also what are the good ones near city center.

Hope to hear some experiences too of Indian guys.

    Thanx

Don't go alone and don't creep on women.

He'll tweak this as soon as he sees it. Haha

Just dress neat, nor fancy and go on out. Might be easier with people but sure have a crack at it alone and see what happens.

The Palace and Whelans would be a decent start alright.

Jumboman, if you have nothing helpful to add, don't bother. Folks please be aware that Dublin City charter now applies

It is a bit unusual to go to nightclubs alone in Dublin.
People go to bars and music venues alone all the time however.
If you go to a pub/bar by yourself you will usually end up chatting to different people.

You just need to wear casual clothes - there is no dress code in most places except some places don't allow sports clothes such as tracksuits, trainers etc
