    Hi Folks

Can anyone recommend anywhere in Ireland that does decent Save the Date Cards?
Just looking for something small kind of vintagy. Lots of places in the US do them like ETSY and the like but wondering was there somewhere in Ireland that people would recommend? Not looking to spend a huge amount really.

Some of the bigger Tescos and Easons have a good selection of wedding related cards.

Daintree on Camden Street in Dublin have lovely wedding stationery but can be a little expensive. They do the preprinted stuff or just supply the cards blank for you to print yourself (a bit cheaper!). It's a good place to get ideas, though.

If you have a decent printer near you, you could also design them yourself or get them to help you and do your printing there. That's what I did with my invitations and I got them printed in Devenneys in Dundalk. The more you order the cheaper per card.

If you're going to a stationery place then if you agree to get your invitations there too they might do a bit of a deal for you.

I used Vistaprint.co.uk. They're good value, though the postage was a little dearer than expected...

I bought the design for everything(save the date/invites/Thank you etc) from www.inkinvites.co.nz. They send you pdf. I brought to a local printer who printed the whole lots for me. I used Printsave on Burgh Quay found them excellent and very cheap. I couldn't get over the price of the invites at the wedding fairs and found this the best option.

I used photobox to do up thank you cards for ppl who gave us engagment presents! They turned out really well and I was very happy with them. I got a groupon deal and it worked out 8e for 12 cards and free postage, watch out for any special offers on groupon and pigsback.com!

I made my save the dates myself in powerpoint. It took me ages but I kept it very simple and just copied a format I liked from google images.
I am going to email them to ppl this week who are abroad and need extra time to make arrangements.

Quick question! I was wondering if I should send them out to everyone? as my wedding date is the around chrismas time. I have 9 months to go is it too late to post save the dates? I am sending the invites out in July.

If you have the date, venue and the time of the wedding already, just send the invites earlier. Save the date cards are completely pointless if you have that other information.

you could have something like... We just can't wait so we have changed our date on some new save the date cards. I'm sure people won't ask or if they do they might ask someone who might know the reason.

you can get some cheap ones on eBay :)
