    Hi,

I've recently created a Transgender forum. We have a pretty relaxed moderation philosophy and LBG and Cis people are welcome to join in the craic too. We're just making it public tonight. It's called Transcend Ireland. Check it out and if ye like it hang around. :)

Good luck on the new venture.

If I can offer constructive criticism, with the best intentions in the world, you probably won't need 24 separate forums.

With that amount of forums you'll be needing about 100,000 accounts with about 1000 active members at any one time, and there'll still be areas of the place that won't be posted in for about a year.

Don't let it dishearten you if this occurs, just make sure to keep a practical eye on how many users you have and what size forum they need.

If I also could offer an additional piece of advice.

Buy a domain, they're cheap and make the place look like its more likely to stay than a sub-domain off a free host.

And if you can stump up an additional couple of euro get some hosting and set-up your own forum there are a number of good open-source implementations available. All of which are very easy to setup.

Thanks for the advice folks.:) Yeah I'm going to buy a domain in the next couple of weeks.

As for the amount of forums there probably is a lot right now. I think some could be condensed. Music and movies could be combined. So that's definitely food for thought.:)

Youve already gained loads of experience on forums Azure_sky so that should stand to you.

Just a brief update folks. In retrospect many of the sub-forums were too restrictive. So I've made most of the sub forums non private.

I've made some great people mods too. :)
