Help with rice box

    Hi can any one help me please ?? I have a rice Beaufort treble horse box trailer
    and the front stub axle is broke i am looking for a fix or an axle if any one knows
    were i can get one?? all help is appreciated :) it is the same as the one in the photo below

    It's probably an avonride axle. Quality Tractor parts in mullingar supply trailer parts and they have distributors around the country. You need to take the axle to one of them to get the parts you need. Farm and Industrial supplies in kilkenny are very good

    If your box is same age with Land Rover type wheels, its a Rubery Owen torsion bar suspension. When bronze bushes wear the stub axle splays out putting a lot of sideload on torsion bars. I would imagine a treble box must be very heavy to tow.
