In relation to the "What boards.ie threads have made you angry?" thread, I got thinking on which ones have made me happy, the ones that stand out for me are:

The guy who brought the sandwiches on the bus with him to give to homeless people around Christmas time.

The fella that punched the child who pulled a knife on him.

    The My News thread.

So which ones have made the rest of ye happy? :)

That 'has something unnerving ever happened to you' (forget how it's worded) thread. It's brilliant.

I've always enjoyed the "Stingiest Thing You've Seen Stingy People Do" thread, often saving up several pages' worth of content to enjoy in one long session.

Oh, and the compassion and desire to help on display in the "LET'S ALL LAUGH AT PEOPLE WITH DEPRESSION" thread can be quite touching.

The one from a few years ago about Brian and Ciara (from the garage)

Will he ask her?, wont he ask her?.... lol

Post your pet pic, bangernomics and over to 'departed pets' for a good weep.

The "Let's all laugh at people with depression" thread is quite uplifting. I also appreciate the advice on offer in the "Ladies Who Lounge" thread. Been feeling a bit down lately for a multitude of reasons so they're good for giving me the proverbial kick up the arse.

Redz wanting to be a porn star.

I'm a counter-troll: I troll the trolls. Though sometimes I can't tell the difference between trolling and not trolling anymore, man.

Hey, did I tell you about that time my computer was playing porn in college?

There was a picture of McGyver watching an episode of "Lost", featuring special guests "The A Team" in it. Nah, just kidding, two bags of piss and a jar of stale air.

Does anyone remember that thread with the American girl coming to Ireland and asking about cultural norms here...that was comedy gold.

It was a few years back and has been deleted since, but it was easily the greatest example of the internet gone wrong that I have ever seen.

Basically a user posted an innocent thread in AH about a picture of a girl in a newspaper who was interviewed about some protest saying she was cute and all hell broke loose with how fast it picked up momentum. It went from a bit of joking to the user being accused of being a stalker in an instant, the girls own bebo page was found and posted, and that was when it really went over the cliff. It sounds ridiculous trying to explain it, but watching the whole thing unfold was downright spectacular.

Off the top of my head...

Feeky- I still read the thread...still funny.
    Brian 4 Ciara
Duggy's housemate tries to kill him
I like cake- makes me hungry but I love it
Santa Strikeforce makes me warm and fuzzy.
    Woman collapses on the DART

And DENTAL PLAN! (Lisa needs braces)

There was a brief thread about a year ago about a lost lunch, it was gripping, the lunch was left on the roof of a car, driver drove off and obviously lost the lunch box.

Pics of the lunch box were posted, as was the general area where it was lost. There were regular updates etc. I know, I know, it sounds as boring as hell but honestly, it was hilarious. You had to read the whole thing.

Lunch box was found in the end.

    Found it.
