I'm looking to hire a skip for the end of march early april. only a small one probably mini size. Just want to clear out the house a bit but wont need a huge skip. Its not something I'm familier with so if people could give me the cheapest options I would really appreciate it!

You could try either Ray Whelan (office on castle Hill) or O Toole skip hire
    http://www.otooleskiphire.ie/

Either one will point you in the right direction, I think O Toole's do everything for AES on the skip side of things now. I'm not sure of cost on a mini skip but I'd guess you will be paying north of €100 anyway

If you have a car trailer you could fill it up and bring it out to o'tooles outside Ballon as that may be cheaper than hiring a skip.

Do they only charge by the ton?

I've a few bags in the garage I could bring over.

If you have recyclables why not bung them in the boot of the car or in a trailer and bring to the tip in Powerstown, only €2 in. :)
