Cheque from Social Welfare

    Hi

    Do anybody know the approximate length of time that AIB bank takes to process a cheque from Social Welfare?

    I lodged a cheque today within the bank using the 'self lodging machine.'

    for me it takes 1 full week,so say I lodge cheque on a tuesday its cleared the next tuesday thats with ptsb though

    Does anybody know when the cheques will arrive from social welfare this week?

    It was meant to be posted friday and arrive today but with the easter arrangements i dont know whats happening?

    You should get it tomorrow. Always a day late after the bank holiday.

    Do they count good Friday as an extra day closed? If so will the cheque come on Thursday instead?? :(

    Hi there

    I lodged my Social Welfare cheque in AIB bank last friday. No sign of payment yet. Anybody know how long should I wait?

    Does Saint Patrick Day count as a non-working day for the banks when dealing with cheques?

    You can cash you cheque in the post office and then lodge the cash into your account and there would be not waiting time.
