    The only issue I see which I could be wrong about is the post are timber ? and laid in postmix. These should be concrete posts as the timber ones will rot quite quickly,even the pressure treated ones. But all other info is v good,follow it and u wont go wrong.

    That wooden post of mine isnt for a fence at all.

    Its for a nice garden feature that will be there for a long time to come.:)

    I wanted it to be upright and secure and not to lean over or slump/slant in any high winds,so postcrete was used when it was being installed into the ground.

    None taken....just clarrifying what the wooden post was/is for.;):)

    Myself and the missus installed it and secured it with some postcrete for added peace of mind.

    3 euro 30 cents for the bag of postcrete in B&Q.
