Noticed a damp patch on the floor behind the passengers seat. It looks a bit white. Cut the carpet today and the grey insulation stuff under the carpet is soaking. Guess thats why my windows keep fogging up. Any ideas how to fix it? Will be getting rid of the car in the next 6 months hopefully so not gonna spend much to fix it. Thanks

It will most likely be caused by the pollen filter scuttle panel. The seal perishes on them over time and allows water to ingress. Here's a vid clip for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4nCtwFeego Thats a left hand drive focus in the vid.

The first half shows how to change the pollen filter and seal it with new mastic / silicone sealant. The second half shows how to change the air filter which helps the engine get good quality air. It's a 10 minute job to do the pollen filter and reseal the scuttle panel.
