    Hi,
I usually get a keg around this time of the year.
    Paddy's day, good friday etc.

    Its usually Guinness or Heineken.
I have my own cooler, gas and taps etc.

Is there somewhere i can buy one of the crafts beers in a keg?
    An ale preferably.
If it is possible, what kind of gas setup and tapping head etc is needed?
    Thanks
    Sham.

I was at the bar in the Salt House Galway one night when a customer asked that very question. One of the bar lads said they'd look into it for him but by the sounds of it, it wasn't going to be such a big problem. I actually don't know whether he got a Yes in the end and I meant to call into chat with the lads and find out. You could always ring them. The Galway Bay Brewery (Salt House) make Galway Bay Ale which is lovely. Might not be ideal for you location wise OP but maybe you'd find somewhere in Dublin, otherwise spend a nice weekend in Galway when you come to collect your keg. :)

Keg Parties does a few of the craft beers. They supply the equipment, but can probably advise you if your own is suitable.

Considering you have your own set up, why not contact the breweries directly.
    List here.
I reckon you'd get a better price than going through a third party.

Getting the correct Tapping head will be your headache because different kegs have different heads and even some products use a different gas mixture, especially craft and/or imported products.

I'd imagine most companies would allow you a keg but charge you a deposit on the keg because there is a cost involved in the keg itself kind of like going to your local shop for a gas cylinder.

Galvins in cork does do it but I'm guessing you are based in Dublin?
