Boys shoes to go with a navy suit

I have got a lovely navy 3 piece suit for my son for his First Communion in May, from Next. It's all navy while the waistband, lapels & jacket & waistcoast pockets have a black trim.

I was thinking tan coloured shoes would go best with it, like slip ons or loafers. However, I have tried online with Next, M&S, Debs & ebay and cannot locate any. Will try some bricks & mortar stores over the coming weeks, if anyone knows where I can locate them in a size 3 or 4?

Or could I put black shoes with the navy suit?? (I have a navy suit which I wear to work sometimes and always wear either navy shoes or tan boots)

Spartoo.eu might be worth checking. They have quite good choice of kids shoes but they are not the cheapest.

Nothing wrong with black shoes with a navy suit.

I think you'll be limited maybe with colours given the fact it's children's shoes but if you could get a burgundy/oxblood colour, that would be great.

    Definitely better than tan imo.

Any colour you like as long as it's black. Blue and brown is a despicable combination. Make sure to put a good shine on the black shoes.

Totally disagree; dark brown shoes look best with a navy suit. Black... not convinced. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

    Tan though... no.

Maybe deck shoes? It'd depend on exactly how formal the suit is, but I've seen it before and it can work really well if they're brand new. Then they can be worn again afterwards and they aren't slippy underfoot on the day.

    Hi
This is the very suit I got my son for his confirmation, had originally bought him a white suit but it was just a bit too much out there for my liking.
We spent more time looking for shoes than we did a suit!!
We got a pair of black leather slip ons in dunnes stores for €35 and a pair of high tops in schuch for after the church.
Both shoes look great and if you buy the shoes and try them on and they look awful just return them.
I don't know what shirt you bought but we got the blue shirt with the flowery lapel, same colour as the handkerchief, they have vans in schuch the exact shade.
But the slips on from dunnes were very smart and you won't go wrong with them.
Not very computer literate but will try to post a photo if I can.
    Have a great day!!!

Thanks biddybops. I seen two nice pairs of black shoes in barratts so may go for one of them.
Thinking a light blue shirt with a darker blue tie.
