    Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has a good recommendation for a pit stop between Roscoff and Vendee? We are two adults and three kids 3 5 and 12. Ideally somewhere to stretch the legs and get a good quality but reasonably priced meal would be great. Somewhere that's easy to find too and not miles of course either.

    Many thanks

don't know if you are coming from cork but that ferry arrives around 7am in the morning and you will be bulling for road. Where in the Vendee (st jean de monts?) you are going but you can be there in 5 hours easy so its not a massive journey. What we do is just stop in a motorway service station after 3 or 4 hours and have a sandwich and then get going again. The service stations are quite good there and not that expensive.

The motorways going that way also are inland and there isn't much to see anyway

    Hi Eco,

Were going to Bonne Anse Plage. Thanks for the info. Do you know how much roughly it costs in toll's?

If you put your route into www.viamichelin.com it should give you the toll charges.

Brilliant, thanks a million. I did have a quick look online but couldn't see anything jumping out at me.

could be around €30 off the top of my head. The way they work it over there is you get a ticket at the first toll bridge and then it depends where you get off. You hand the ticket to the teller and they tell you what it is. Don't be surprised if it is over €20 though
