Just got some slurry out about 10 days ago and hoping it should wash in a bit over the next few days with the rain coming.
As its forecast mild after that I was wondering if its too late to spray for ragworth? I usually let cattle out in the first few days of May or the very end of April. If I got sprayed in the next few weeks would it work?

you spray at the rosette stage, wait 3 weeks and make sure all are dead, if dying they are palatable... dont spray when there is frost coming, i am hopefully spraying 30 acres in the next few days

using d50 at 10 litres for 5 acres.... so 60 litres. there are other sprays but some are not licensed for ragworth so just be careful

Make sue to spray again at the end of the year or early next year. ragworth is a bienniel this means that seeds shed one season skip a year before they germinate.. So look for rosettes at end of this year/early next year and if present spray again
