Missing Exma due to illness and resitting exam?

    Hi,

I've been out of college for about a week now and amn't well. I've two midterms on Thursday and Friday which I haven't even been able to study for or even go to college since last week.

I'm going to attempt to go in to study tomorrow for the midterm on Thursday and see how I get on, but if I see the doctor (which I am anyway on Friday), will it be ok if I miss these exams and will they let me resit them? I can have a note from my doctor or whatever they need.

What is the best way to inform your lecturer about it / is there a procedure?

Will they generally be ok about letting me resit it? I missed a homework due too, but don't know if she'll allow me resubmit that?

Also, when would they do it, over the mid-term break or when we get back to college do you think?

    Thanks for any info.
